Eretz-Ir believes that cities in the periphery of Israel can and should benefit from vibrant and developing communities and social entrepreneurship and that these cities will be places where diverse populations in Israel choose to live. These cities will offer high quality community life and services to the residents – who themselves will be partners in the creation and development of the city. With almost two decades of experience, Eretz-Ir expertly guides some 70 communities and social entrepreneurs yearly in implementing their initiatives, and therefore, positively impacting the wider community around them.

We serve as a platform for 70+ local communities and social entrepreneurs every year, each one working to impact cities throughout Israel’s social and geographic periphery with a total of 120 annual initiatives. These initiatives meet residential needs, minimising gaps and providing effective solutions from the grassroots.
Each initiative is a world of its own, carving its own path to create change. In order to truly understand the impact and value of these initiatives, we have mapped them out according to their various fields of impact.
